中文摘要: 数据传输是无线传感网的基本功能和其他协议的基础。通常,无线传感网中需要先建立适合传输的路径,然后在上面进行数据传输。但是,当前无线传感网数据传输协议缺乏对节点质量包括节点内部信息等的考虑和利用,导致了路径质量估计不准确和数据传输性能的极大降低。 通过无线传感网实际系统的部署、真实数据传输协议的实现和数据分析,申请人通过初步研究确定了节点质量对数据传输性能的重大影响。从而,率先提出统一的通用链路模型来刻画节点和链路质量,解决了传统数据传输协议中无统一模型可依的问题,深化了对节点质量、链路质量和传输效率之间关系的认识,解决了传统数据传输协议中路径质量计算不准确的问题,同时率先在节点质量信息基础上建立最优化数据传输模型,突破节点质量信息缺失导致传输效率难以最优化的瓶颈,设计分布式协议并在实际网络中实现和验证,实现大规模无线传感网数据传输性能的提高。

英文摘要: Data delivery is a basic functionality in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). It also acts as a fundamental building block for other protocols in wireless sensor networks. However, in existing data delivery protocols, node quality including internal information on sensor node is often overlooked. As a result, path quality cannot be accurately measured and thus data delivery performance is far from satisfactory. By implementation of the data delivery protocol, applying it to a real wireless sensor network and analysis of the collected data, we first verify that node quality has a large impact on routing and data delivery performance. Without considering the node quality, the system performance can severely degrade. Motivated by the result, we propose a unified link model and a new path quality metric, which characterizes both node and link properties. Based on the routing structure built on the unified link model, we design a data transmission protocol to achieve the optimal performance. We implement the protocol and evaluate it in real wireless sensor networks to validate the improvement to data delivery performance.
