中文摘要: 本项目立足于生物兼容性好、发光性能好、以碳量子点(CQDs)或石墨烯量子点(GQDs)为基质的上转换发光材料的制备及其生物、分析应用。相比于上转换发光稀土纳米材料,CQDs和GQDs表现出许多特有的优点,如毒性低、生物兼容性好、易功能化等。然而, 目前所报道的CQDs或GQDs的上转换发光效率都比较低,从而成为制约其在生物、分析领域应用的瓶颈问题。本项目提出制备高荧光活性的CQDs或GQDs,并将所得的CQDs或GQDs与有机染料、金属纳米材料或稀土离子相结合,使其对近红外区光子能量的吸收增强,最终实现提高CQDs或GQDs上转换发光效率的目的。在此基础上,还将把所得的材料直接应用于细胞或生物体的上转换发光成像,同时将对所得材料进行进一步修饰,并应用于生物分子和无机离子的检测。

英文摘要: In this project, we focus our study on the preparation, biological and analytical application of upconversion nanomaterials based on carbon quantum dots (CQDs) or graphene quantum dots (GQDs). Compared with upconversion nanoparticles based on rare earth, CQDs and GQDs show many unique advantages, such as low toxicity, good biocompatibility, and easy functionization. However, the present reported CQDs and GQDs show poor upconversion performance, which limits their application in biogical imaging and analytical detection. Herein, we would firstly prepare CQDs or GQDs with high fluorescence quantum yield. Then the obtained CQDs or GQDs will be combined with some special organic dyes, metal nanomaterials or some rare earth ions to increase their ability of absorbing photon energy at near infrared region, and finally enhance the upconversion performance of the CQDs or GQDs. On this basis, the obtained upconversion materials will be applied in cell imaging or bioimaging directly. Moreove, the upconversion materials will be further modified, and then applied in the detection of some biomoleculars and inorganic ions.
