中文摘要： 在经济全球化、快速城市化及中国社会大转型背景下，城市回族社区的传统空间模式及发展路径遭受到前所未有的挑战。城市回族社区空间模式是什么？如何转型？转向何方？路径何在？本项目拟以城市回族社区为研究对象，以郑汴洛呼城市民族区为典型案例，以区位-地方-空间-关系-制度为逻辑框架，采取理论建构、案例解剖及实证分析有机结合的方法, 以空间模式分析为主线，以城市回族社区现代转型的空间区位选择、地方性建构、空间结构分析为基础，以关系建构空间过程及演化模式为核心，以地方制度文化传统与发展路径选择为落脚点，探索和提炼城市回族社区现代转型的空间模式及发展路径，进一步推动学科交叉研究和国际学术对话，补充地理学界对回族社区研究的不足，完善回族社区研究的理论范式，在地理透镜下建构基于中国经验的回族社区地理理论，为快速城市化背景下城市少数民族社区的重构及现代转型提供理论依据。

英文摘要： The spatial pattern and traditional development path of urban Hui communities is subjected to the hitherto unknown challenge on the background of economic globalization, and it is also the rapid urbanization and great transformation of Chinese society. How can the urban Hui communities transform? Where and what is the path? What is the spatial pattern? This project will take urban Hui community as the study object, typical case investigation of Zheng-Bian-Luo-Hu urban ethnic districts as the basis, location - place - space - relation - institution as the logical framework, combining the methods of theoretical building with case study and empirical analysis, and taking spatial patterns as the common thread, spatial location choice, relational building and spatial reconstruction, placeness building and spatial structure as the basis, spatial process and evolution of relational building as the core, and local cultural tradition and development path choice as the foothold. Furthermore, the project will explore and refine the spatial pattern and development path on the modern transformation of urban Hui communities, promoting interdisciplinary research and international academic dialogue, supplying geography circles on Hui community research, improving the theory paradigm of Hui community research, constructing the Hui community geography theory based on Chinese experience under geographic lens, and providing the strong theoretical support for the spatial reconstruction and modern transformation of urban minority communities under the background of rapid urbanization.
