中文摘要: 气候变率的变化伴随着极端天气气候事件的发生,对人类生存、经济发展和生态系统造成巨大危害。土壤湿度是陆表面一个重要的分量,能够对气候变率产生重要影响。全球变暖将使气候变率增加,研究土壤湿度对未来夏季气候变率变化的影响,将对气候变率的预测有一定指导意义,有助于提高我们应对气候变化的能力。气候模式是理解气候变率机制、预估未来气候变化的重要工具。本项目将使用LASG全球气候系统模式(FGOALS)的结果,驱动WRF区域气候模式,进行土壤湿度对中国当代(1981-2010)和未来(2071-2100)夏季气候变率影响的数值模拟试验研究。理解土壤湿度对中国当代夏季气候变率的影响,结合数值模拟与统计分析结果分析其物理过程;在RCP 4.5情景下,模拟研究土壤湿度对中国未来夏季气候变率变化的影响。本项目的研究将探寻我国夏季气候变率变化的原因,从而为我国气候变化预估服务,减少其中的不确定性。

英文摘要: Increase in climate variability and associated climate extremes have great effects on human life, economic development and ecosystem. Soil moisture, an important component of land surface, can influence change of climate variability. Climate variability will increase as a consequency of global warming in the future, therefore, researchs on the role of soil moisture for change of climate variability could contribute to improved climate variability prediction, and provide the help for us to cope with the consequency of future climate change. Climate model is a useful tool to understand the mechanism of climate variability and project future climate change.In this study, we use WRF regional climate model nested within LASG/IAP coupled model FGOALS to analyze soil moisture feedbacks on changes in present (1981-2010)and future (2071-2100)summer climate variability in China. Firstly, validation of the model performances in simulating summer climate of present time are conducted. Secondly, we explore the effects of soil moisture on present summer climate variability and possible mechanisms. Finally, we analyze the role of soil moisture for the future summer climate variability under scenarios of RCP 4.5. This study explores the causes for summer climate variability and will provide the help for climate prediction and
