中文摘要: 研究气相分子双电离过程及双电荷分子离子的电子态特性,对理解和认识等离子体、大气电离层以及星际空间等电离媒介中复杂的物理和化学过程具有重要的意义。本项目拟在合肥同步辐射装置原子分子物理线站上,采用能量范围为30-124 eV的真空紫外输出,开展多原子分子单光子双电离过程研究。项目将发展基于同步辐射的符合测量技术(包括光电子-光离子、光离子-光离子符合等),重点研究双电荷分子离子的产率、稳定性、解离动力学过程,以及多原子分子轨道结构对双电离过程的影响。通过项目研究,获得准确的分子双电离势和碎片离子的出现势,以及不同粒子和解离通道的关联信息,揭示多原子分子双电离过程中蕴含的新构型效应、尺寸效应和轨道效应等。项目旨在加深对多原子分子双电离机制及双电荷分子离子电子态特性的认识,帮助我们深入了解行星大气、星际环境以及等离子体等中的双电荷分子离子的产生、结构、特性以及动力学机制。

英文摘要: It is of vital importance to investigate the double ionization of gas-phase molecules and the electronic states of double-charged molecular ions for understanding the complicated physical and chemical processes in various ionic media, such as plasma, ionosphere and interstellar. The research of the proposal is going to carry out the one-photon double ionization of several multi-atomic molecules in the energy range of 30-124 eV. The study will be performed at the atomic and molecular physics beamline of Hefei National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory. We will develop techniques for coincident measurement (photoelectron-photoion, photoion-photoion, etc) of the double ionization process based on the synchrotron radiation. We will focus on the probability of double ionization, the stability of the molecular ions, the dissociation dynamics of the electronic states, as well as the influence of the molecular structure, size and orbitals on the ionization. With performing the study in the proposal, we expect to determine the accurate double-ionization potential and the appearance potential of the fragment ions, to obtain the relation between different electrons and ions and dissociation channels, and to reveal the new structure effect, size effect and orbital effect in the double ionization processes of the multi-atomic molecules. The proposal is aimed to add more knowledge of the underlying mechanism of the double ionization and the behavior of the electronic states of the double-charged molecular ions, thus to help us understand the formation, structure, property and dynamics of double-charged molecular ions in various ionic media.
