中文摘要: 本课题重点研究无线资源受限情形下新型无线分层多媒体传输技术。资源受限集中表现于三方面,即无线网络带宽资源有限、频谱资源日趋枯竭与无线终端处理能力受限。无线网络中有限的带宽资源导致了编码器端多媒体码流受限,本课题基于博弈论理论优化多媒体码流速率、编码方式及分层结构,实现优化质量分层媒体编码方案。为解决无线频谱资源紧张的问题,利用感知无线电技术,基于机器学习理论,准确感知频谱资源和进行有效的频谱聚合,实现多媒体数据的最优传输。针对无线终端处理能力受限的情况,基于凸优化理论研究高性能信号接收方案,设计一种将MIMO检测、预编码技术与无线分层媒体结合的新架构,根据信道估计反馈信息,在接收端运算复杂度和性能之间进行平衡,以期显著提升多媒体传输效果。本项目研究对未来无线网络中的多媒体传输具有一定的理论前瞻性和重要的实际意义。

英文摘要: The focus of this project is to research the new wireless multimedia technology under resource constrain environment. The resource constrain includes three main aspects: limited wireless network bandwidth, exhausted wireless spectrum and the wireless terminal with insufficient processing capacity. In the wireless network, the code rate is restricted by the limited bandwidth. Based on Game Theory, we optimize multimedia stream rate, coding method and hierarchical structure to achieve optimal quality layered media encoding scheme.To deal with the problem of wireless spectrum resource, the optimal transmission of multimedia should been researched with efficient use of free spectrum discovered by cognitive radio based on the machine learning. To propose the efficient signal receiver solution under resource constrained environment, a new architecture combined MIMO detection, precoding and wireless layered multimidia in PHY layer with layered media based on convex optimization should be researched. To enhance the effect of the multimedia presentation, the strategy of controlling video lay and pilot distribution should be researched with the feedback information of channel estimation. In this project, the research of multimedia transmission in future wireless network is forward-looking and important both in theory and practice.
