中文摘要: 无线传感器网络可以应用到国防军事、环境监测、建筑物监测等重要领域,具有广阔的发展空间和应用前景。近年来云计算技术的快速发展,给传感器网络注入了新的活力,催生了新的应用和服务,也拓展了传感器网络在数据处理和存储方面的能力。然而传感器网络与云计算技术相结合后存在与云端通信带宽不足、实时性差和故障/错误率高等一系列新的问题。针对这些问题,本项目引入雾计算模式的理念,研究利用移动节点作为雾计算核心层(雾节点层)的关键技术。通过协调和调度传感器网络中的移动节点,充分发挥移动节点的优势:贴近末端节点、延迟低、具有一定的本地计算和存储能力,实现传感器网络与云计算平台的良好通信,扩展传感器网络与云计算相结合的服务。本项研究成果既是对现有的传感网技术的重要补充和改进,也是对雾计算这一新型计算模式的实践和验证,具有重大的理论与应用价值。

英文摘要: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) can be applied to lots of important fields such as military, environment monitoring and structure health monitoring which has a broad development prospects. Recently, the development of cloud computing technology injects new vigor and livelihood to WSNs, gives rise to new applications and extends WSNs’ abilities of computing power and storage capacity. However, during the process of combination of WSNs and cloud computing, several problems are rising, that is, the limited bandwidth connected to cloud, the weak real-time performance, and the high fault rate. To solve these problems, we introduce the concept of “fog computing” and research the key technologies of exploiting mobile elements as the core layer (fog layer) of fog computing. By scheduling and controlling mobile elements to make full use of their characteristics: closing to end nodes, low delay, capable of local computing and storage, the WSNs can be connected to cloud platform well, and the services combined with cloud computing can be extended. This research is not only a complement and improvement to WSNs but also a practice and verification for fog computing model, which has great theoretical significance and practical values.
