英文摘要: In this project, self-supporting, doped and undoped porous silicon in a large scale will be synthesized via a green chemical route, a low-temperature magnesiothermic reaction. The kinetics involved in the reaction will be explored. The microstructure of porous silicon will be tailored by controlling the reaction parameters(e.g., time, temperature). Surface of porous silicon will be further modified by metallic coatings(e. g., nickel, copper) through electroless plating. We will study the performance of above tailored porous silicon as anode materials for Li-ion battery, reveal the the mechanisms how its microstructure, doping and coating influence the electrochemical performance of porous silicon, and finally obtain ways to improve its performance. The project will provide experimental basis for research and development of high performance Li-ion battery anode materials.
