中文摘要: 分布式拉曼光纤放大器是下一代光网络传输系统和传感用大功率任意波长放大器的共性关键技术。分布式拉曼光纤放大器中的偏振吸引效应,不仅可用于实现对光传输信号偏振态的控制与恢复,还是导致大功率拉曼放大器中输出信号光失偏现象的主要原因之一,因此具有极大的研究价值。但目前该研究尚在起步阶段,现有理论与具体实际问题脱节。本项目在前期工作基础上,围绕偏振吸引效应在基础理论及实际应用中的关键问题展开创新性研究,实现下列研究目标:①完成对双向纯拉曼分布式放大方案中偏振吸引叠加效应机理的理论研究,建立适用于多种参数条件下拉曼放大器中偏振吸引效应通用理论;②完成对大功率拉曼放大器中的信号光失偏机理理论与实验研究,建立相应偏振态控制理论,为该放大器的研发及应用奠定坚实基础;③完成对正交拉曼泵浦功率失配条件下偏振吸引效应导致传输信号损伤的理论分析并提出抑制方案,并利用偏振吸引效应对多路信号光实施同时线上偏振态控制。

英文摘要: Distributed fiber Raman amplifiers are promising technology for next generation long haul transmission systems and high power narrow line-width amplifiers technology for sensor applications. In distributed fiber Raman amplifiers, the polarization attraction effect can be used to control or regenerate the state of polarization of signals in the optical links. Besides that, in high power regime, the polarization attraction effect will reduce the degree of polarization (DOP) of output optical signals; thus limits the further applications of high power Raman amplifier. Therefore, the polarization attraction effect recent attracted many research interests[11-20]. Despite that, to the best of our knowledge, there is no existing theory discribes the polarization attraction effect when considers real cases with bi-direction Raman pump scheme, orthogonal Raman pump pair, or fiber Raman amplifiers operating in highly depletion regime. We thus propose to study on three key issues on theory and applications of the polarization attraction effect in the distributed fiber Raman amplifiers. 1) Investigate the operation principles of the combine effect of the polarization attraction and polarization pulling in bi-direction pumped pure fiber Raman amplifier; build a general model to discribe the polarization attraction effect i
