中文摘要: 生物玻璃是一种优良的生物体硬组织修复材料。近年来,生物玻璃广泛地被添加到口腔护理产品中,促进牙齿的修复和再矿化。二氧化硅是牙膏中理想的摩擦剂,也是近年来迅速发展的一类生物兼容性较好的无机载体材料。本项目利用这两种生物活性材料构筑新型"核-壳"结构的多功能、可控释放的生物玻璃-介孔二氧化硅体系。在该体系中,壳层二氧化硅材料可以使生物玻璃材料更加稳定地存在于水相环境中,拓宽生物玻璃的适用范围。另一方面,生物玻璃可以在外层二氧化硅材料清洁牙齿的过程中随着二氧化硅外壳的破损而被释放;释放的生物玻璃材料可以在清洁的牙齿表面进行有效的再矿化修复。我们拟围绕具有良好生物活性的生物玻璃和二氧化硅材料,通过设计合成与构筑多功能的具有可控释放性质的"核-壳"生物玻璃-介孔二氧化硅体系材料,为寻找更加有效的多功能可控释放的生物体硬组织修复材料提供新思路和新途径。

英文摘要: Bioactive glass (or bioglass) has been used to repair and regenerate the diseased or damaged hard tissues historically. Recently, it is used as active ingredient in commercial dental care products for remineralization of teeth. Inorganic silica materials which often used as ideal cleaning agents in commercially toothpaste products are a novel kind of efficient drug delivery carriers with good biocompatibility which developed rapidly in recent years. In this proposal, a new class of bioglass-core mesoporous silica-shell materials as stimuli-responsive controlled release systems with functions of cleaning and reminralization of teeth are proposed. We hope to demonstrate that the mesoporous silica-shell could prevent the hydrolysis of the bioglass-core which enables the stability of bioglass in aqueous environment. On the other hand, the bioglass materials could be controlled released to repair or regenerate demineralized or damaged teeth in vitro after the mesoporous silica-shell structures damaged by cleaning teeth surfaces. The biglass-core mesoporous silica-shell materials could be a novel stimuli-responsive (such as cleaning teeth with these materials) controlled-release system with high biocompatibility and chemical/thermal stability. This system would bring a brand new way to design and construct new classes
