中文摘要: 作为空中侦察和监视的重要手段,无人机视频信息的有效表示和高效传输是一项重要的研究课题。鉴于无人机的载荷受限、带宽受限、应用复杂等特点,传统的视频处理和压缩方法都存在压缩性能和计算复杂度不可兼得的缺点,不能充分的满足其需求。视频自适应技术是将视频转换成特定的表达形式,再通过自适应操作来实现视频处理和压缩,其特点在于可以根据实际需求灵活的提供所需视频信息,并兼顾压缩性能和计算复杂度。本项目欲采用视频自适应技术来解决无人机视频传输所存在的问题,主要内容包括:定义符合无人机特点的视频表达形式;设计与视频表达相对应的自适应操作;明确无人机视频传输的约束条件和用户需求;利用无人机视频自适应传输系统,实现高效的、快速的、可靠的、灵活的视频传输。

英文摘要: The video information captured by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) is of great importance in the application of air reconnaissance and surveillance, so it is essential to describe and transmit it efficiently. But conventional methods of video processing and compression are hard to tradeoff between coding efficiency and computational complexity, to meet the limitation of payload and bandwidth with complicated requirements. Video adaptation has been considered as an effective technique to tackle challenging problems in video transmission by transforming an inputted video to an outputted video in a new format to meet diverse resource constraints and user preferences. This project aims to solve the problem in UAV video transmission with video adaptation conception, and the research includes several parts: define a new type of video description for UAV; design adaptation operations according to the description; specify the resource constraints and user preferences of UAV; realize efficient, fast, credible and flexible video transmission based on the video adaptation system.
