中文摘要: 半导体激光器因其体积小、可靠性高、电光转换效率高等优点,使其在激光雷达、激光气体检测、主动探测识别等领域取得广泛的应用,但由于半导体激光器很难获得窄频率线宽、大功率相干输出,因此成为其进一步发展和应用的主要瓶颈。国内外研究学者对此进行了多种相干合成技术的研究,仍难以有效地解决这一问题。本项目将相干合成与偏振合成技术有机结合,通过采用一种新型的主从注入锁相技术,实现多只单横模半导体激光器的相位锁定;采用主动相位调制技术分别将参与合成光束进行相位调制,使得合成光束保持线偏振特性,可继续与多光束进行偏振合成,突破了偏振合成仅限于两路的情况,在保证相干特性的前提下提高了输出功率,有望实现输出功率大于1瓦,频率线宽小于1MHz的相干光源。本项目的研究为今后进行大规模半导体激光相干偏振合成起到了理论指导作用,也为我们在该领域取得创新性、突破性成果,获得自主知识产权提供了广阔的空间。

英文摘要: Because of the advantage of small volume, high reliability and high wall-plug efficiency, diode laser is used in the field of laser radar, laser gas detection and active detection. But it is difficult to realize the narrow line width and high output power which become the limitation of next development in above application. Some research of the diode laser coherent combination was launched by many scientists, but the status is not ideal. The coherent combination and polarization combination is combined in this project. The conventional master-slave injection is optimized by optical design, which can make multi single-transverse mode diode lasers output with the same frequency. The phase difference of the combination beam can be controlled by the technology of the active phase modulation. So the beam after polarized combination still maintain the linear polarization state, it can be combined with the next line polarized light. This method can break the limitation of combination by only two units in the conventional polarization combination. The output power can be increased under maintain the coherent character of source.
