The project is to investigate the microstructural characteristics and texture mechanism of dissimilar titanium alloy joints welded by electron beam, along with the effect of β-stablizing elements on the microstructure and phase. Also, using the equation the Mo equivalent is calculated to prove that it is reasonable that the phase exists in the dissimilar titanium alloy joint. The texture mechanism of the joint at different zones will be studied. Based on the fatigue theory, the relationship between the fatigue life and the tensile properties will be studied. Based on Schmid factor, the relationship between the texture and the properties will be discovered. This research is about a basic common problem in many manufacture areas, such as quality control of the welding process. The research results have not only significant science significance to develop the welding theory, but also benefit to enhance the mechanical property and the reliability of the structure.
