中文摘要: 北冰洋有全球最大的陆架面积和随季节变化的海冰覆盖,是全球生产力最高的海区之一,也是海冰变化最显著的地区之一。由于全球变暖,近几十年北极海冰覆盖度持续减小,冰藻作为海冰覆盖区初级生产力的重要贡献者,其输出有机质必然发生明显变化,并进一步影响生物泵有机碳输出和海洋生态系统结构。本项目选择北冰洋楚科奇海-加拿大海盆陆架和陆坡区为主要研究区域,以冰芯及悬浮颗粒物、沉积物捕获器等样品为研究对象,拟采用表征冰藻的生物标志物(IP25),结合海冰分布情况和水生藻类标志物,获取北冰洋冰藻及其贡献有机质份额的变化信息,探讨海冰覆盖度和开阔水面出露时间对生源有机碳冰藻来源部分比例的影响。在此基础上,通过分析生物标志物在多管沉积物中的分布差异,获取北极快速变化下,冰藻和浮游植物来源有机质相对贡献的年代际变化信息。该项目的实施有助于我们更好地了解冰藻对北冰洋有机质贡献及其对生物泵有机碳输出的影响。

英文摘要: The Arctic is one of the world's most productive marine areas with the largest shelf area and seasonal ice cover. It also the most significant areas of sea ice changes. In Recent decades, the Arctic sea ice cover continues to decrease due to global warming. As the main contributors of primary productivity in the sea ice cover Arctic Ocean, the output of ice algae derived organic matter has experienced dramatic variations, and further affects the output of organic matter from biological pump and the structure of marine ecosystems. This project will be conducted in the Arctic Chukchi Sea and Canada Basin. By analyzing of ice core, suspended particulate matter and sediment trap samples, we will employ the characterization biomarker of ice algae (IP25) ,combined with sea ice distribution situation and other aquatic algae biomarker, investigate the changes of ice algae and ice algal derived organic matter. We will discuss the impact of sea ice extent and duration on the proportion of ice algal derived organic matter in biogenic organic carbon. Moreover, we will measure the changes of biomarkers at the multi-tube sediments, aiming to obtain the decadal change information of ice algae and phytoplankton derived organic matter under rapid changes in the Arctic Ocean.
