中文摘要: 随着异构无线网络融合与互通的发展,用户对移动性支持提出了新的需求,垂直切换管理因此成为研究热点。本项目在移动IPv6协议框架基础上,在有效保证低额外开销的前提下,围绕垂直切换管理过程中存在的性能瓶颈,提出相应的性能优化方案。具体包括:权衡网络扫描接口能量效率和接入网发现时效性,研究网络扫描接口自适应管理方法优化接入网发现;统一不同维度度量指标各评价属性的取值方向,及考虑移动终端间的资源竞争,研究可扩展的、移动终端协同的动态加权接入网络评估模型优化服务网络选择;研究自适应的切换触发调整机制,避免虚报触发导致的额外开销及性能损失;研究时、空联合相关性的典型移动模式认知及其辅助的智能切换实现。实验主要结合QualNet网络仿真平台与真实网络,验证所提出的垂直切换管理方案的有效性。项目的主要目标是实现垂直切换管理过程的智能化,为优化网络整体性能和提高终端用户体验提供理论和技术支持。

英文摘要: With the convergence and interworking of heterogeneous wireless networks, the mobile users have put forward new requests for mobility, and vertical handover management therefore becomes the research hotpot. Based on the Mobile IPv6 protocol framework, the research are conducted on the performance bottlenecks in the vertical handover management, and develop the corresponding performance optimization solutions with limited overhead. The innovative works are stated as follows. To optimize the access discovery process, researching the adaptive management for network scanning interface by balancing the power efficiency and the system discovery time. To optimize the serving network selection, researching the dynamic weighted access network evaluation model with good scalability and collaboration by unifing the value direction of each evaluation attribute attached to diffierent dimensional measures and considering the resources competition among the mobile terminals. Researching the adaptive adjustment for handover trigger process to avoid the overhead and performance loss caused by the false trigger alarm. Researching the spatial-temporal joint correlation based typical mobility patterns recognition and its assisted intelligent handover implementation.
