中文摘要: 针对当前无线通信、成像、雷达以及国防安全等领域对可调制连续太赫兹辐射源的应用需求,申请人在光学THz辐射源已有研究基础上,提出了基于波导结构Cherenkov相位匹配的内调制THz辐射源研究,拟采用由高功率连续激光泵浦平板波导结构,利用Cherenkov相位匹配级联差频产生窄线宽THz波,并通过控制波导结构中有机电光材料包层的折射率实现太赫兹耦合输出的调制,从而获得波导结构内调制THz波输出。通过研究波导结构Cherenkov相位匹配的高效级联差频技术以及平板波导THz耦合输出调制的机理,突破高效光波导太赫兹波的高效频率转换以及太赫兹波导耦合调制的关键技术,最终实现高功率、高效率、结构简单紧凑的小型化可调制光学太赫兹辐射,这对促进太赫兹在无线通信、成像以及雷达等领域的应用具有重要的推动作用。

英文摘要: Modulated terahertz source has important applications in many fields, such as wireless communication, imaging, radar and national defense. Based on our previous study on optical THz source, we proposed a novel scheme to achieve internal modulated THz source via guided-wave Cherenkov phase-matching. We plan to generate monochromatic THz wave with Cherenkov phase-matched cascaded difference frequency generation in planar waveguide and control the THz output coupling by changing the refractive index of organic clad. By studying the energy conversion in the process of THz difference frequency and THz output coupling from the waveguide, we aim to obtain high power, high efficiency, compact and modulated THz source. It would be of great importance for the applications in the fields of wireless communication, imaging and radar.
