中文摘要: 高折射率(high-n,n>1.70)聚合物光学材料在先进光电领域内有着广泛的应用前景。传统聚合物材料的折射率通常小于 1.70,本申请课题拟对超高折射率(n>1.75)有机聚合物光学材料的分子设计以及合成进行深入系统的研究。研究对象为两类本质高折射率芳杂环聚合物材料-含硫聚酰亚胺(polyimide, PI)与聚苯并喹噁啉(polyphenylquinoxaline, PPQ)。通过密度泛函理论(DFT)从分子水平上设计上述聚合物的化学结构。通过将噻吩以及噻蒽等高摩尔折射率含硫基团引入上述聚合物分子结构中,进一步提高其折射率,同时兼顾材料的双折射、耐热稳定性以及光学透明性。在系统研究噻吩、噻嗯等含硫基团对 PI 以及 PPQ 综合性能影响规律的基础上,掌握上述材料的化学制备技术,为未来研制开发高性能 high-n 光电材料提供理论依据与基础数据。

英文摘要: Polymer optical coatings with high refractive index (high-n, n>1.70) have potential applications for advanced optoelectronic fields. In the present project, the molecular design and synthesis of novel high-n polymer coatings (n>1.75) will be studied systematically. Two heteroaromatic polymers with inherent high refractive indices- sulfur-containing polyimides (PI) and polyphenylquinoxaline (PPQ) will be investigated. First, the molecular structure of the polymers will be designed by density functional theory (DFT). The thiophene and thianthrene moiety with high molar refractions will be introduced to the structure of the polymers in order to increase their refractive indices and maintain their thermal stability, low birefringence, and optical transparency. The influence of the sulfur-containing groups, such as thiophene and thianthrene on the properties of PI and PPQ will be investigated in detail. Based on the research results, the synthesis procedure of the polymers will be established. The present research will provide theory and experimental data for the future development of high performance high-n optoelectronic polymers.
