中文摘要: 本项目在潘宁离子源已被证实能够产生负离子和我们已有研制中子管的成功经验的基础上,拟将潘宁负离子源作为中子管的离子源,提出一种新的中子管实现方案。采用这种离子源的中子管在去除引出束流中电子的情况下,引出的都是单原子负离子,束流的利用率可以达到100%,产生相同产额中子所需的D、T负离子的量比较小,对靶的溅射损伤非常小,而且靶上不会产生二次电子,能够解决目前中子管寿命短、稳定性不高的问题。通过建立专用实验平台,研究负离子的引出结构、去除引出束流中电子的电磁结构及提高引出束流的方法。采用光谱分析技术结合引出束流的测量,揭示离子源轴向负离子密度分布规律。解决适合中子管用PIG型负离子源的结构设计和有效去除引出束流中电子的电场、磁场的形状及强度等关键技术问题。对进一步阐明PIG离子源的放电机理,揭示其放电规律,对中子管技术和中子发生器技术的创新和发展,具有重要的理论价值和应用价值。

英文摘要: The project is based on the result that the Penning ion source can produce negative ions and the experience that the neutron tube with Penning positive ion source can be manufactured successfully by our institute. A new design scheme was brought forward for neutron tube with Penning negative ion source.On the situation of eliminating electrons from the eduction beam current, only negative ions of single atom will be genarated based on the proposed neutron tube, and the utilizing rate of the beam current can achieve 100%. Compared with conventional methods, it requires fewer D and T negative ions in producing the same field of neutrons, and costs considerably less sputtering demage on the target. In addition, it can prevent secondary electron emission from the target. So the problems of short life as well as poor stability in previous techniques will be resolved effectively by the proposed one. A special experimental flat was established to study the eduction structure, to find new method to eliminate electrons in eduction beam current and to increase the eduction beam curren. By the spectrum analysis technique and the measurement of eduction beam current, the density distribution law of negative ions at axis will be tried to open out.
