中文摘要: 三维造型技术在平板电脑与智能手机等移动终端上有着广泛的应用前景,然而移动终端具有计算能力差、屏幕小、定位困难、输入设备简单和交互不便的特点,使得传统的三维造型技术难以直接应用在移动终端上。本项目拟基于移动终端平台提出草图式三维造型技术的研究。主要研究内容包括:研究基于草图式方法的三维造型理论与关键技术,实现便捷的三维模型设计;研究基于动态参数化方法的三维彩绘技术,以平面绘画的方式实现纹理的实时绘制;针对移动终端触摸式输入和草图式造型方法的特点,研究基于手势操作的人机交互技术,实现自然友好的三维造型交互设计;最后研发面向移动终端的草图式三维造型设计的原型系统并加以评估验证。以上关键技术的研究将突破传统三维造型方法的限制,利用草图和手势操作方法,探索新的三维造型和人机交互技术,提高三维造型设计的效率,提升用户体验,为移动终端上的三维图形交互设计提供理论依据和技术支持。

英文摘要: 3D modeling technology has a wide range of applications on mobile terminals including tablet PCs and smart phones. However, due to the limitations of the computing power, screen size, input device and interaction method, it is difficult to apply traditional 3D modeling technologies to mobile terminals directly. The project intends to conduct research on a sketch based 3D modeling technology for mobile terminals. Four topics are included in the research. Firstly, key theories and technologies of a sketch-based 3D modeling method will be studied to realize fast and convenient 3D model design. Secondly, a 3D painting method based on a dynamic surface parametrization technology is proposed to directly draw textures on the surface of a 3D model in real time using a 2D painting style. Thirdly, based on the characteristics of the touch input method of mobile terminals and the sketch-based modeling method, human-computer interaction techniques based on gesture operations are studied to achieve natural and friendly 3D design. Finally, a prototype system of sketch-based 3D modeling run on mobile terminals will be developed, and user evaluation will be given. The key techniques to be researched will break through the limitations of traditional 3D modeling methods, explore new 3D modeling and human-computer interaction technologies based on the methods of sketching and gesture operations, improve the efficiency of 3d modeling design, enhance the user experience, and provide theoretic foundation and technique support for applying 3D design technologies to mobile terminals.
