中文摘要: 在非简并条件下,同步泵浦光学参量振荡器难以实现光参量的模式锁定,限制了光频梳向中波红外波段的发展。光学参量振荡器的直接锁模运转具有解决该问题的潜力,但受限于非线性频率转换器件和调制器件,目前光学参量振荡器的锁模研究仍处于简并的工作条件下。本项目将采取新思路,在非简并条件下实现光学参量振荡器的锁模运转,有望在更宽的频域,以更为灵活的方式提供锁模激光输出;拟以非周期畴极化反转镁掺杂铌酸锂晶体(APMgLN)和非线性反射镜(NLM)为基础,在非简并条件下实现脉冲宽度小于1ns、平均功率大于200mW的锁模光学参量振荡器。采用高增益宽带APMgLN作为非线性频率转换器件,为光学参量振荡器在非简并条件下实现锁模运转提供必需的增益带宽;以NLM作为被动调制器件,既能避免传统调制器的各种限制,又能减小调制器对非信号光的影响,可以有效地简化系统结构;

英文摘要: The lack of mode locking of the output from synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillators(SPOPOs) at non-degeneracy leads to the difficulty of frequency comb extending to middle infrared range. A mode-locked optical parametric oscillator(OPO) has the potential to solve this problem. However, restricted by nonlinear material and modulator, the mode-locked OPOs still worked at degeneracy. In our project, we design a novel way to realize a non-degenerate mode-locked OPO, this design will help to extending mode-locked laser to wider frequency range. Based on the aperiodically poled MgO:LiNbO3(APMgLN) and nonlinear mirror(NLM), a non-degenerate mode-locked middle infrared OPO with 1ns pulse width, 200mW average power will be fabricated.APMgLN used in the mode-locked OPO is designed to supply the wide gain bandwidth which is one of the necessary conditions for mode locking; The usage of NLM as a passive modulator avoids much restriction in conventional modulator, and provides the OPO with the ability of small disturbance for the idler and the pump.
