中文摘要: 互联网作为全球最大的通信基础设施,已成为国家进步和社会发展的重要支柱。随着各种新兴业务和应用的不断涌现,对网络的带宽提供能力和服务质量保障能力提出了更高要求。现有网络普遍采用单下一跳最优路径进行数据传输,而这种基于单下一跳路由的尽力而为数据传送方式正是造成当前网络资源使用不均衡和局部拥塞的重要根源。多路径并行数据传输可以有效聚合使用多条路径的带宽,均衡网络流量,提高网络的可用性和生存性,从而有效提升网络的服务质量。本项目围绕“寻找路径、选择路径和使用路径”三方面展开研究,重点研究了多路由产生机制,多路径网络的流量工程模型,多路径网络的流量控制算法和基于业务区分的多路径网络资源分配算法,并力图将研究成果有机整合,形成多路径网络数据传输的整体解决方案。本项目旨在探索多路径通信网络的关键理论及技术,为后续多路径通信网络的实际应用提供切实可行的理论基础和指导。

英文摘要: As a foundation of building unified IP carrying and operational platform, the routing and switching equipment must meet the rapid expansion of information capacity and the diversiform requirements of network traffic to establish a stable and fundamental basis for National Information Infrastructure (NII). However, with the network scales rapidly and new network applications emerge frequently, bandwidth supply for today’s Internet could not catch up with the rapid increasing requirements. Unfortunately, irrational using of network sources makes things worse. Actual network deploys single-next-hop optimization paths for data transmission, but such “best effort” model leads to the imbalance use of network resources and usually leads to local congestion. On the other hand Multi-path routing can use the aggregation bandwidth of multi paths efficiently and improve the robustness of network, security, load balancing and quality of service. As a result, multi-path has attracted much attention in the routing and switching research fields and many important ideas and solutions have been proposed.
