中文摘要: 随着无线设备数量和无线宽带应用的急速增长,频谱资源的需求不断增加。通过认知无线电技术,获得可用频谱资源,由认知无线电设备组成的认知网作为一种频谱共享系统,能够有效缓解频谱资源不足问题。在这样的背景下,如何通过改进网络拓扑、协议等条件以及更高效利用频谱资源来提高认知网的性能是亟须解决的。主要研究内容包括:1.协作与非协作认知网容量分析,结合次级参数的影响,作为进一步网络性能研究的理论依据;2.建立多址接入时延模型和设计多比例公平CSMA/CA协议,分析并改进用户共享资源时的网络性能;3.设计有效公平的频谱拍卖方案和动态拍卖方案,高效、公平的分配频谱资源,同时分析并尽可能的提高拍卖策略下的网络性能;4.合作与非合作中继优化管理,通过合理的中继选择与资源分配(功率、带宽等),提升网络性能(吞吐量、覆盖范围)。

英文摘要: With the rapid growth of wireless facilities and the corresponding bandwidth demand, the limitation of the spectrum resource has become the major impedance. Cognitive radio networking, which allows unlicensed users to access licensed spectrum and sense the spectrum holes, is an enabling technology to alleviate the spectrum scarcity problem as well as to increase the spectrum utilization. Enhancing the performance of cognitive radio networks via optimizing the network topology, MAC protocol, and more efficiently utilizing the spectrum resource is becoming more and more important. Our proposed research is summarized by the following four thrusts: 1. We carry out a capacity analysis of cooperative and non-cooperative cognitive radio networks to jointly investigate various parameters of the secondary network. 2. We propose a multi-access delay model for spectrum sharing in cognitive radio networks, and design a proportionally fair CSMA/CA protocol based on the proposed model, which aims to analyze and improve the network performance. 3. We study both static and dynamic spectrum auction strategies to efficiently and fairly allocate the spectrum resource as well as to enhance the network performance. 4.
