当今国内学术影响力比起一二十年前已经有了长足的进步,但是主要体现在论文发表的数量上。学术影响力有哪些方面?如何进一步提升甚至最大化学术影响力?这是学者们需要关注的问题。有鉴于此,我们特地邀请了五位华人IEEE Fellow和与会者一起分享他们的成功经历和经验,并和与会者进行交流互动、传授真经。
本论坛由中国图象图形学学会机器视觉专委会和中国自动化学会模式识别与机器智能专委会联合举办。
组织者简介:
林宙辰,北京大学教授,IAPR/IEEE Fellow,中国图象图形学学会机器视觉专委会主任,中国自动化学会模式识别与机器智能专委会副主任。研究领域为计算机视觉、机器学习、图像处理、模式识别和数值优化。发表论文160余篇,英文专著1本。任CVPR 2014/2016/2019、ICCV 2015、NIPS 2015/2018和AAAI 2019领域主席,AAAI 2016/2017/2018和IJCAI 2016/2018高级程序委员,IEEE T. PAMI、IJCV编委。

刘成林,中国科学院自动化研究所研究员,国家杰青,IAPR/IEEE Fellow 1989年本科毕业于武汉大学,1992年获北京工业大学工学硕士学位,1995年获中国科学院自动化研究所工学博士学位。1996年至1999年先后在韩国科学技术院(KAIST)和日本东京农工大学从事博士后研究工作。1999年至2004年在日立中央研究所先后任研究员和主任研究员。2005年1月回国,入选中国科学院“百人计划”(引进海外杰出人才计划)。现任中国科学院自动化研究所研究员、副所长,模式识别国家重点实验室主任。研究方向为模式识别、图像处理、机器学习、文字识别与文档分析等。在国际期刊和国际会议上发表论文200余篇,其中包括国际期刊(IEEE Trans. on PAMI, Pattern Recognition等)第一作者论文20篇。合著文字识别方面的英文专著一本。获得授权发明专利5项。由于其在手写文字识别研究方面的突出成就,2005年在国际模式识别协会主办的国际文档分析与识别会议上获得IAPR/ICDAR Young Investigator Award (青年学者奖)。2008年获得国家杰出青年科学基金。现任国际期刊Pattern Recognition的副主编, Image and Vision Computing, International Journal on Document Analysis and Recognition和Cognitive Computation的编委,国内期刊《自动化学报》副主编。中国人工智能学会常务理事、模式识别专委会主任,中国自动化学会理事、模式识别与机器智能专委会主任,美国电气电子工程师协会会士(IEEE Fellow)、国际模式识别学会会士(IAPR Fellow)。 |

黄庆明,中国科学院大学教授,国家杰青,IEEE Fellow 中国科学院大学特聘教授、博士生导师、计算机学院专任副院长,中国科学院计算技术研究所客座研究员、博士生导师,分别于1988年和1994年在哈尔滨工业大学计算机系获工学学士和博士学位,1995-1996年在新加坡国立大学进行博士后研究,1996-2002年在新加坡资讯与通信研究院任研究员,期间曾于2000年赴加拿大多伦多大学进行访问研究,2003年入选中国科学院“百人计划”回国工作,2010年获国家杰出青年科学基金资助,2014年获评百千万人才工程国家级人选并被授予“有突出贡献中青年专家”荣誉称号,2017年获选IEEE Fellow,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。 主要研究方向为多媒体计算、图像与视频分析、模式识别、计算机视觉等,主持承担了国家自然科学基金(杰青、重点、国际合作)、863课题、973课题等10多项国家和省部级课题的研究工作,已在国内外权威期刊和重要国际会议上发表和录用学术论文400余篇(Google引用8000余次,H指数是43),其中IEEE/ACM汇刊论文和中国计算机学会(CCF)认定的A类国际会议论文100余篇,申请国内外发明专利30余项(20余项已授权),相关研究成果多次获得省部级奖励。担任T-CSVT、自动化学报等国内外期刊编委,IEEE CASS北京分会主席,CCF会士,CCF多媒体技术专业委员会副主任,北京市图像图形学会副理事长,近年来参与了ACM Multimedia、CVPR、ICCV、ICME、ICMR、PCM、PSIVT、BigMM等10多个本领域主流学术会议的组织和评审工作,担任大会主席(PCM2017)、程序委员会主席(PSIVT2017、BigMM2018)、组委会成员或程序委员会委员等任职。 |

张磊,香港理工大学讲席教授,IEEE Fellow Lei Zhang received his B.Sc. degree in 1995 from Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Shenyang, P.R. China, and M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Control Theory and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, P.R. China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. From 2001 to 2002, he was a research associate in the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From January 2003 to January 2006 he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Canada. In 2006, he joined the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as an Assistant Professor. Since July 2017, he has been a Chair Professor in the same department. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Center, Alibaba Cloud, in Sept. 2018. His research interests include Computer Vision, Image and Video Analysis, Pattern Recognition, and Biometrics, etc. Prof. Zhang has published more than 200 papers in those areas. As of 2018, his publications have been cited more than 35,000 times in literature. He was selected as a “Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher” consecutively from 2015 to 2018. Prof. Zhang is/was an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, SIAM Journal of Imaging Sciences, IEEE Trans. on CSVT, and Image and Vision Computing, etc. |

贾加亚,腾讯优图实验室主任、腾讯杰出科学家,香港中文大学教授,IEEE Fellow Jiaya Jia is an IEEE fellow. He is now the Distinguished Scientist and Director of YouTu Lab, Tencent, as well as professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science jointly from Microsoft Research and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2004. He published 100+ papers in top conferences and journals and gave 30+ keynote talks in academia and industry. His team also released 20+ open-source systems and freeware. He is in the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI) and International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV). He served as area chairs for ICCV and CVPR for several times. He was on (technical paper) program committees of major conferences in graphics and computational imaging, including ICCP, SIGGRAPH, and SIGGRAPH Asia. |

陈长汶,香港中文大学(深圳)教授,SPIE/IEEE Fellow Chang Wen Chen is currently Dean of School of Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He is also an Empire Innovation Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York since 2008. He has been Allen Henry Endow Chair Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology from July 2003 to December 2007. He was on the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Rochester from 1992 to 1996 and on the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1996 to 2003. He has been the Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Trans. Multimedia from January 2014 to December 2016. He has also served as the Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Trans. Circuits and Systems for Video Technology from January 2006 to December 2009. He has been an Editor for several other major IEEE Transactions and Journals, including the Proceedings of IEEE, IEEE Journal of Selected Areas in Communications, and IEEE Journal of Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems. He has served as Conference Chair for several major IEEE, ACM and SPIE conferences related to multimedia video communications and signal processing. His research is supported by NSF, DARPA, Air Force, NASA, Whitaker Foundation, Microsoft, Intel, Kodak, Huawei, and Technicolor. He received his BS from University of Science and Technology of China in 1983, MSEE from University of Southern California in 1986, and Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1992. He and his students have received nine Best Paper Awards or Best Student Paper Awards over the past two decades. He has also received several research and professional achievement awards, including the Sigma Xi Excellence in Graduate Research Mentoring Award in 2003, Alexander von Humboldt Research Award in 2009, the University at Buffalo Exceptional Scholar – Sustained Achievement Award in 2012, and the State University of New York System Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities in 2016. He is an IEEE Fellow since 2004 and an SPIE Fellow since 2007. |
