5th International Workshop on Software Test Architecture (InSTA) is the 5th series of international workshop on software test architecture. Software test architecture includes analyses of system under test, approaches to design test cases, and notation of software testing. Designing better software test architectures is important for software testing. The software test architecture is a key to the test strategy. In software testing, there are various keywords for test design concepts. However, there are no widely standardized diagrams or notations to communicate the test design concepts, to increase the productivity and reusability of tests by raising their levels of abstraction, to generally grasp the overall perspective of the software for testing it. By focusing on the higher concepts of test architectures, our discussions can raise the quality of the testing.
Test architectures must be approached indirectly as a part of the test strategies. Some organizations are working to establish new ways to design novel test architectures, but there is no unified understanding of the key concepts of test architectures. In InSTA workshop, researchers and practitioners will discuss the research works, industrial experiences and emerging ideas about software test architectures. The topics are concepts of test architectures like as abstraction of test cases, design of test architecture as application or enhancement of existing notation UML and UTP, test requirement analysis like as patterns for test requirement analysis, application of test architecture as quality evaluation of test architecture and other software testing related topics.

Scaling up machine-learning (ML), data mining (DM) and reasoning algorithms from Artificial Intelligence (AI) for massive datasets is a major technical challenge in the time of "Big Data". The past ten years have seen the rise of multi-core and GPU based computing. In parallel and distributed computing, several frameworks such as OpenMP, OpenCL, and Spark continue to facilitate scaling up ML/DM/AI algorithms using higher levels of abstraction. We invite novel works that advance the trio-fields of ML/DM/AI through development of scalable algorithms or computing frameworks. Ideal submissions should describe methods for scaling up X using Y on Z, where potential choices for X, Y and Z are provided below.
Topics: -Recommender systems -Optimization algorithms (gradient descent, Newton methods) -Deep learning -Sampling/sketching techniques -Clustering (agglomerative techniques, graph clustering, clustering heterogeneous data) -Classification (SVM and other classifiers) -SVD and other matrix computations -Probabilistic inference (Bayesian networks) -Logical reasoning -Graph algorithms/graph mining and knowledge graphs -Semi-supervised learning -Online/streaming learning -Generative adversarial networks

PASC18 is the fifth edition of the PASC Conference series, an international platform for the exchange of competences in scientific computing and computational science, with a strong focus on methods, tools, algorithms, application challenges, and novel techniques and usage of high performance computing.
PASC18, co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS), will be held from July 2 to 4, 2018 at the Congress Center Basel, located in Basel, Switzerland.
The theme of PASC18 is Fast and Big Data, Fast and Big Computation, emphasizing our vision of the close coupling of data and computation. Exposing and expressing massive and irregular parallelism in computational problems are key challenges for exploiting the massive and heterogeneous parallelism available in current, and expected in future, HPC systems, as well as to find new ways of generating scientific insight from data and models. Through its rich and interactive program, PASC18 aims to highlight the computational approaches that computational scientists, computer scientists, and practitioners employ today and will employ over the next decades to address these challenges.

UNet is an international scientific event that highlights new trends and findings in hot topics related to ubiquitous computing/networking. This fourth edition will be held on May 03-05, 2018, in the fascinating city of Hammamet, Tunisia.
Ubiquitous networks sustain development of numerous paradigms/technologies such as distributed ambient intelligence, context-awareness, cloud computing, wearable devices, and future mobile networking (e.g., B4G and 5G). Various domains are then impacted by such a system, one cite security and monitoring, energy efficiency and environment protection, e-health, precision agriculture, intelligent transportation, home-care (e.g., for elderly and disabled people), etc. Communication in such a system has to cope with many constraints (e.g., limited capacity resources, energy depletion, strong fluctuations of traffic, Real-time constraint, dynamic network topology, radio link breakage, interferences, etc.) and has to meet the new application requirements. Ubiquitous systems bring many promising paradigms aiming to deliver significantly higher capacity to meet the huge growth of mobile data traffic and to accommodate efficiently dense and ultra-dense systems. A crucial challenge is that ubiquitous networks should be engineered to better support existing and emerging applications including broadband multimedia, machine-to-machine applications, Internet of things, sensor networks and RFID technologies. Many of these systems require stringent quality-of-service including better latency, reliability, higher spectral and energy efficiency, but also some quality-of-experience and quality-of-context constraints.
The main purpose of UNET 2018 conference is to serve as a forum that brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss recent developments in pervasive and ubiquitous networks. This conference will provide a forum to exchange ideas, discuss solutions, debate on identified challenges and share experiences among researchers and professionals. UNET aims also to promote adoption of new methodologies and to provide the participants with advanced and innovative tools able to catch the fundamental dynamics of the underlying complex interactions (e.g., game theory, Mechanism Design theory, Learning theory, SDR platforms, etc.). Papers describing original research on both theoretical and practical aspects of pervasive computing and future mobile computing (e.g., LTE-A, LTE-B, 5G) are invited for submission to UNET 2018.
