中文摘要: OFDM-PON具有频谱效率高、资源分配灵活、可为不同类型业务提供透明传输通道等优势,被认为是支持多种异构接入技术的理想方案之一。采用OFDM-PON承载多种异构接入技术的异质业务面临诸多挑战,亟需统一且透明的资源分配机制,屏蔽不同接入技术的复用方法、资源分配/调度等差异,解决光OFDM信号峰均功率比高、频率偏移及相位噪声敏感等关键问题。因此,对其进行研究已成为国际学界和业界的热点问题。本项目主要研究支持异构接入技术的OFDM-PON资源分配与优化机制,研究内容包括:支持异构接入技术的OFDM-PON系统架构设计、虚拟子载波分配与调度算法研究、物理层性能优化机制研究及跨层联合优化机制研究。开展这项研究将有利于深入探索支持异构接入技术的OFDM-PON资源分配与优化技术,研究有效的方法解决资源虚拟化、分配/调度及跨层联合优化等问题,为实现OFDM-PON对多种异构接入技术的有效支持打下基础。

英文摘要: OFDM-PON has been acknowledged as one of the promising solutions for supporting various heterogeneous access technologies, due to its advantages such as high spectrum efficiency, flexible resource allocation, providing transparent transmission channels for different types of services. However, there are still lots of challenges when using OFDM-PON to carry the different types of services of various heterogeneous access technologies. The uniform and transparent resource allocation is needed to shield the difference of various access technologies in multiplexing method and resource allocation/scheduling, etc., so as to address the key issues such as high peak to average power ratio of optical OFDM signal, frequency offset and phase noise sensitivity. Therefore, the research on these issues mentioned above has become a hot topic in academic and industrial communities. This project mainly studies the resource allocation and optimization mechanism of OFDM-PON supporting heterogeneous access technologies. The research works include: architectural design of OFDM-PON system supporting heterogeneous access technologies, virtual subcarrier allocation and scheduling algorithm, physical-layer optimization mechanism, and cross-layer joint optimization mechanism. This project will help researchers to deeply explore the resource allocation and optimization mechanism of OFDM-PON supporting heterogeneous access technologies, study effective algorithms to solve the problems such as resource virtualization, allocation/scheduling, and cross-layer joint optimization mechanism, and lay the root for the OFDM-PON supporting various heterogeneous access technologies.
