中文摘要: 温室气体的排放及其引发的日益严重的环境问题已引起世人的广泛关注。各国都在竭力减少CO2的排放量,然而在以化石型燃料为主要能源的当今社会,CO2的大量排放无法避免。因而,如何合理回收利用CO2已成为许多国家的战略性研究课题。本项目拟针对温和条件下有机物的电催化羧化固定利用CO2反应,结合新型催化材料的设计、制备、表征和应用等方面的研究,开发出高效稳定的纳米金属催化材料。阐明材料微观形貌与催化性能之间的相关性,探讨具体的催化反应过程及机理;从纳米层面上认识表面效应、量子尺寸效应、界面效应等对催化的作用。为拓展CO2的资源化利用体系和新型高效电催化材料的设计制备奠定理论基础。

英文摘要: CO2 is the largest contributor to the green house effect, which may increase the earth average temperature to such a value that may cause catastrophic events. Considering the actual energy sources (75% from fossil carbon), recovery and utilization of CO2 becomes more and more important. In this project, high effective and stable new nano-metal materials will be prepared, towards the utilization of CO2 by electrocatalytic carboxylation under mild condition, including the design, fabrication, characterization and application of the materials. The relativity between the morphology and electrocatalytic behavior will be illuminated, while the catalytic reaction process and mechanism will be discussed. The surface effect, quantum size effect and interface effect towards the electrocatalytic reaction will be investigated. We hope the study would lay a theoretical foundation for the utilization of CO2 and preparation of new high efficient electrocatalytic materials.
