中文摘要: 宽频/可重构的电磁超材料在通讯领域有重大需求。窄带和带隙频段保持不变是导致电磁带隙结构(electromagnetic bandgap,EBG)无法应用于宽频/可重构天线的主要因素,严重制约着天线辐射性能的发展。因此展宽EBG结构的带隙宽度是提高天线辐射性能的必要前提。如何智能的控制EBG结构的周期单元,准确的在所需的单元上接入non-foster电路元件是智能控制EBG结构的难题。为此,本课题首先针对EBG结构的宽带特性展开研究,探索non-foster电路产生负阻抗的特性及其变化范围,构建具有智能控制的可重构EBG结构样品,实现宽带EBG结构,进而将其应用于天线上改善辐射特性。通过本项目的研究,在一定程度上解决EBG样板加工好后,就无法在调控带隙位置以适应无线通讯的需求的问题。研究基于non-foster电路元件的可重构EBG结构,为天线应用奠定理论基础,提供应用保障。

英文摘要: Wide band and reconfigurable Metamaterials is in high demand in the field of wireless communication. Narrow and unchangeable operating bandwidth of electromagnetic bandgap(EBG) structure constitutes the major reason in reconfigurable antenna's application, which severely constricts the development of radiation pattern. Therefore, it is essential to broaden bandwidth. In the region of reconfigurable EBG structure, the key issue is to intelligent control the EBG units which is connected with or without non-foster circuits. To address this problem, this project will focus on the wideband properties of the EBG structure. By exploiting non-foster circuits, the properties and bandwidth in high frequency of negative impedance will be studied. The reconfigurable EBG structure will be fabricated to testify the wide bandwidth. The sample of the proposed EBG structure with non-foster will be used to improve the radiation pattern. However, once these EBG structure is fabricated, the operating band is also fixed, which makes the EBG hard to accommodate new services. Therefore, it is more desirable to design a non-foster reconfigurable EBG with a flexibly tunable operating band or wideband, which can provide the theoretical foundation and technical support for antenna pattern.
