中文摘要: 变换光学是目前活跃在光学和纳米光子学领域的一种独特的研究方法,它为这些领域带来了无限生机,本项目拟采用变换光学的方法结合数值分析和实验研究几个逆问题:①隐身的逆问题,即电磁斗篷(cloak)的探测,分析电磁斗篷对超短脉冲激光的非线性响应和散射光谱,给出探测电磁斗篷的经典光学方法,研究结果对阐明电磁波与超材料(Metamaterial)的作用机理有重要意义,为超材料的应用起到积极的促进作用。②电磁斗篷变换区域的逆问题,设计斗篷的几何互补结构,分析其电磁局域特性,探索其在小型高分辨传感器、存储器等方面的应用;③表面等离子波传播的逆问题,将无限大金属板变换为含奇点(边缘或尖端)的金属纳米结构,使原本向无限远传播并逐渐衰减的表面等离子波沿金属表面向其奇点减速传播,并在奇点处聚集/增强,实现纳米尺度的宽频段光捕获(light harvest),研究其在单分子光谱探测、低能量超快非线性效应方面的应用。

英文摘要: Transformatiom optics (TO) is a unique tool used in the frontier researchs of the optics and the nanophotonics now, which has offered and will offer more remarkable opportunities for the development of these fields. In this project, several inversed problemes will be studied using the theoery of TO together with the numerical analysis and the experiment. The first problem is the detection of the electromegnatic(EM) cloak, which is the inverse problem the EM cloak. The nonlinear optic responds and the scattering spectrum of the EM cloak corresponding to the supershort laser pulse will be analyzed. And the optical method of detecting the EM cloak will be concluded. The research result is helpful for explaining the mechanism of the interaction between the electromegnatic wave and the metamaterials and can promote the application of the metamaterials. The Second is the inverse problem of the transformation area of the EM cloak. Geometric complement structures of the EM cloak with different parameters will be designed and its properties in the localization of the electromegnatic field will be analyzed. Applications in the high resolution senors and storing devices will be explored. The third is the invese problem of the propagation of the surface plasmons.
