中文摘要: 高速模拟直调激光器作为宽带模拟通信系统中的关键器件,研究者不断致力于研究提高其性能的方法。在我们对注入锁定FP激光器的频率响应特性、非线性特性等方面的研究基础上,本课题拟用基于窄线宽激光注入锁定的原理,采用集成化的可调谐外腔窄线宽激光器和窄线宽DFB激光器作为主从激光器对模拟直调激光器进行研究;通过互注入锁定的游标效应,增加了激光器的品质因子,实现可调谐、窄线宽、单纵模激光输出。通过本课题的研究,揭示影响直调激光器的频率响应特性、响应线性度和频率啁啾特性与主从激光器的功率比、频率失谐和线宽机理,为实现高性能模拟直调激光器提供理论和实验基础。

英文摘要: High-speed analog directly modulated lasers as a key device in broadband analog communication systems, the researchers constantly work to improve the performance. Basis on the nonlinear characteristics and frequency response in our previous research on injection-locked FP lasers, the project research on analog directly modulated laser based on the principle of injection-locking narrow linewidth laser. The integrated tunable external-cavity narrow linewidth laser and narrow linewidth DFB laser are utilized as master slave laser. By the vernier effect of mutual injection-locking, the quality factor of the laser is increased, so the tunable, narrow linewidth, single longitudinal mode laser output is achieved. Through the research of this project, the mechanism on the impact of directly modulated laser frequency response characteristic, response linearity and frequency chirp from the master-slave laser power ratio, the frequency detuning and linewidth. The theory and experimental foundation are provided for achiving high performance analog directly-modulated semiconductor laser.
