中文摘要: 目前分布式视频编码(DVC)得到的率失真性能与预测视频编码(PVC)相比还有着较大差距。为了弥补这种差距,必须在编码端采用运动估计,而这与DVC轻量级编码器的出发点相违背。这一困境是因目前视频编解码复杂度的分配过于对立而导致的。为了给能量受限移动终端视频应用提供更多的灵活性,提出一种融合了PVC和DVC技术的均衡式视频编码(BVC),通过在编码和解码端分享运动估计计算复杂度,来实现复杂度的动态分配。重点研究PVC,DVC及均衡式视频编解码复杂度建模及编解码复杂度优化机制问题,对编码系统的运动估计中像素的读和写操作引起的数据传输进行建模,建立编解码复杂度及其优化分配的模型,在此基础上设计均衡式视频编码系统及相应置信传播译码算法,并将均衡式视频编码系统通过移动终端在实际无线通信环境实现,对进一步推广移动终端中的视频通话等能量受限应用具有重要实际意义。

英文摘要: The Rate-Distortion performance between Predictive Video Coding(PVC) and Distributed Video Coding(DVC) is still an enormous gap.In order to narrow this gap,the motion eastimation must be added in encoder,this is not consistent with the lighter encoder of distributed video coding.This dilemma is caused by the current complexity distribution scheme,the complexity difference between encoder and decoder is very striking.To provide more flexibility for energy constrained video application of mobile device,a balanced video coding methods was presented, which combined the technology of predictive video coding and distributed video coding. The dynamic complexity distribution was implemented by shareing the complexity between the encoder and decoder. The encoder and decoder complexity model and complexity distribution model of PVC,DVC,BVC was focused on to construct. The model of data transfer caused by the pixel reading and writing of motion eastimation, the complexity of encoder and decoder model and complexity distribution model was constructed respectively.Base on this,the balanced video coding system and the correspond belief propogation deocding algorithm was designed.The whole balanced video coding system was implemented in practical communication envirement using mobile devices,It is significant to promote the us
