中文摘要: 作为未来移动通信关键技术之一的可见光通信具有绿色、安全、宽可用频段等特点,对于频谱资源紧缺的射频无线通信来说是一个很好的补充。但是作为光源的发光二极管的调制带宽受限,而多输入多输出技术可以有效提高频谱利用率。本课题将对多输入多输出室内可见光通信传输理论进行研究。首先运用信息论,对多输入多输出室内可见光通信的信道容量进行分析,得到多输入多输出室内可见光通信的信道容量的解析表达式或者紧致的界,并作为评价后续研究内容的依据;其次研究基于系数分离结构的多输入多输出室内可见光通信传输理论方法,提出高效的发射和接收算法;在此基础上研究在理想信道状态信息条件下多输入多输出室内可见光通信自适应调制理论方法,在目标函数和约束条件下进一步提高系统的性能。本课题的成果对多输入多输出室内可见光通信的研究具有重要的应用价值和科学意义。

英文摘要: Visible light communication (VLC) is considered as one of the key technologies of future mobile communications and has its own properties including green, safety, large unregulated bandwidth, etc. VLC is a critical supplementary to frequency spectrum lacked radio frequency (RF) wireless communications. However, the modulation bandwidth of light source (Light emitting diode, LED) is limited. Multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) technology can improve spectrum efficiency significantly. This project will do research on the transmission theory of MIMO indoor VLCs. Based on information theory, we will first analyze the channel capacity of MIMO indoor VLC systems, and derive the analytical expression or compact bounds of channel capacity, which will be a basis to evaluate following research contents. Based on MIMO architecture, we will design high efficient transmission algorithms. Furthermore, we will study adaptive modulation algorithms in MIMO indoor VLCs with perfect channel state information at both transmitter and receiver, and improve system performance under corresponding constraints. The results of this project will provide fundamental transmission theory to MIMO indoor VLC systems.
