中文摘要: 随着移动互联网技术的逐渐成熟,智能穿戴设备成为近年的热点。智能眼镜、手表等智能穿戴设备的计算能力、存储容量、电池电量都相对较低,在此类系统中进行三维图形互动应用成为十分具有挑战性的课题。因此研究三维图形网格简化以及在智能穿戴设备上的传输显示方法十分重要。本项目主要研究:(1)研究三维图形简化的理论,设计出保留图形主要特征的、简化效率较高的网格简化的算法模型与细节保存方法,为在智能穿戴系统上增量显示三维图形提供基础;(2)针对智能穿戴设备的特点,研究在此类系统上显示三维图形的理论和方法,形成在Android Wear等系统上有效显示三维图形的可行方案;(3)结合新设计的简化算法和三维图形显示方案,设计出面向智能穿戴设备的渐进式传输与重构显示图形的方法,为社交、教育、医疗、电商等移动互联网应用提供支持。

英文摘要: With the maturity of mobile Internet technology, wearable devices become hot in recent years.Wearable devices such as smart glasses, smart watch have very limited power and memory capacity. Displaying high definition 3D graphics on these kind of embedded system becomes a challenging problem. Therefore, research on mesh simplification and display method for embedded 3D graphics is necessary. In this project we will do the following research: (1) We will research the theory of 3D graphics simplification, and design a rapid and efficient simplification method which is feature-preserving and reversible, to provide a basis to display high definition 3D graphics on embedded systems. (2) According to the property of wearable devices, we will research the theory and method of embedded 3D graphics, and give a proposal of displaying 3D graphics on Android Wear devices. (3) Combining the new simplification method and embedded 3D graphics display proposal, we will design a progressive transmission and reconstruction methods for wearable devices, which can used to support mobile Internet application such as social network, education, health care and E-commerce.
