中文摘要: 随着智能手机和平板电脑的大量普及,智能移动设备使用者身份的安全认证等问题日益突出。生物特征识别技术与密码等传统身份认证方式相比具有更好的安全性、可靠性和易用性,因此受到广泛关注。掌纹和手形识别技术因对图像采集传感器要求不高、系统性能鲁棒和便于构成融合识别系统等原因,非常适合用于移动设备上的身份认证。然而传统生物特征识别易受到伪装攻击,采取活体检测的方式进行防御在智能移动设备上因传感器限制并不能很好的应用。国际上最新提出的意愿检测概念为防伪装攻击提供了一个可能的解决途径,即在采集生物特征的同时提取使用人预留的行为特征辅助进行识别和判断。目前该概念仅在人脸和虹膜识别研究中有初步尝试,在本项目中将开展基于手势手形的意愿生物特征识别研究。本项目的开展能对生物特征识别和相关领域的理论研究起到一定的推动作用并具有较强的应用价值,特别是融合掌纹和手势手形的识别系统用于智能移动设备具有良好的市场前景。

英文摘要: At present smart mobile devices are widely spread, and the user identity safety problem has become very prominent. Compared with the traditional way of using password, the biometric technology is more safe, reliable and easy to use, so it attracts much attention. Palmprint and hand shape are very suitable for smart mobile device, since they only need basic imaging sensors, have more robust performances and easy to be fused into one recognition system. The traditional biometrics, however, are vulnerable to spoof attack, using liveness detection to protect the system is not available for smart mobile device equipped only with basic sensors. Most recently, the concept of willingness detection is proposed in the world and provides a potential solution, which suggests extracting extra recorded behavioral traits simultaneously while capturing biometrics to assist the recognition and decision making. At present, this concept has only been preliminarily tested for recognition of face and iris, and gestural hand shape is proposed to conduct further research in this project. This project will not only promote the basic theory of biometrics and related areas, but also has a strong value in application, especially recognition system fusing palmprint and gestural hand shape for smart mobile device has a good market prospect.
