中文摘要: 现代实时系统软件通常由混杂程序集构成,其重要的设计准则之一是对实时任务进行隔离以防止其互相干扰。作为解决该问题的重要手段,资源预留与管理的研究在多处理器平台这一新的应用热点上,面临着硬件复杂性与软件并行性的双重挑战。本项目旨在现有研究的基础上,就面向多处理器平台的实时系统资源预留与管理的理论和算法研究,展开深入探索。从不同资源预留实现机制的时间特性出发,研究多处理器上资源预留的抽象建模与可调度性分析方法;以资源优化使用为目的,研究满足优先次序与时间约束的资源预留参数优化方法,以及针对多个资源预留的实时程序优化分割策略;基于系统实际架构与运行情况,研究资源预留的实际部署方案与在线自适应调节机制;构建实际软硬件平台,使用混杂实时程序集进行验证。本项目将为多处理器上资源预留与管理的研究提供新思路,为混杂实时软件在多处理器平台的可靠、高效运行提供有效的理论与技术支撑。

英文摘要: The modern real-time software usually consists of hybrid application sets, demanding for deliberate design effort to prevent reciprocal interference among critical activities. To accomplish this, resource reservation has been proposed as a promising technique to provide temporal isolation between real-time tasks, and has received extensive research attention on uniprocessor platform. When moving to multiprocessor systems, however, the meaning of resource reservation has to be revisited due to the challenges that stem from hardware complexity and software parallelism, and the research community has just started to address this issue. Based on the current works, this project will conduct research on the theories and algorithms for resource reservation and management of real-time systems on multiprocessor platform. By analyzing the intrinsic parallelism of real-time applications and the temporal properties of diverse resource reservation implementations, the resource abstraction technique and the schedulability condition upon the resulting virtual resources will be presented. Aiming at optimizing the resource usage, the optimization technique of the reservation parameters, as well as the strategy of partitioning real-time applications onto a group of resource reservations, will be proposed.
