中文摘要: 量子信息技术的快速发展使得人们越来越多地开始研究如何建立量子网络这一问题。作为天然的飞行比特,光子是量子网络中传输量子信息的最佳载体。因此,可与原子系统带宽匹配的窄带纠缠光源的研制近年来受到很多关注并有了相当大的进展。考虑到不同物理体系往往具有自己独特的优势,将来的量子网络中很可能要采用多种不同的物理系统来实现不同的功能,这就要求作为量子网络中信使的窄带纠缠光源可以匹配不同物理体系的不同波段,从而可以连接各物理体系。基于这一需求,本项目提出进行频率非简并的窄带偏振纠缠光源的实验研究,以连接固态存储节点和束缚离子节点。研究内容包括:1.实验上初步制备出频率非简并的窄带双光子源;2.利用该双光子源制备非简并窄带Time-bin纠缠光源;3.进一步研制非简并的窄带偏振纠缠双光子源,并滤波至单纵模输出;4.消除该纠缠光源双光子间的频率关联,提升纠缠品质。

英文摘要: Fast developments of quantum information techniques in recent years makes more and more researchers begin to study how to build an entangled quantum network. As natural flying qubit, photons are obviously the best information carrier in quantum network. Thus, experimental researches on generating narrow-band entangled photons have drawn much attention and made great progress. In consider of that different physical systems have their own dinstinct advantages, it is rather possible that we have to employ different physical systems for different works in future quantum networks. Based on this demand, this project aims at experimental researches on generating frequency non-degenerate narrow-band polarization-entangled photon source. Our main research contents involves: 1. Experimentally preparing non-degenerate narrow-band twin-photon source as the first step; 2. Generating non-degenerate narrow-band time-bin entangled photon source. 3. Preparing non-degenerate narrow-band polarization-entangled photon source and filtering the output to single-mode. 4. Removing the two-photon correlations in this entangled photon source to improve the entanglement property.
