中文摘要: 图形用户界面是目前人机间主要的信息通道,提高其输入效率需要在考虑人的因素基础上根据交互任务发生的统计特征来优化界面结构。现有的层级任务结构模型是定性的分析方法,无法定量指导优化界面的设计。本项目研制中以概率的形式来表征心理模型中的任务结构,并重点考察任务结构随着交互过程发生和迁移的规律。以概率形式描述用户任务的结构,兼顾了人因和交互任务两方面的因素,可用于求解理论上的最优界面,进而可以对已有界面的交互效率进行定量评价、并建立改进方法。本课题的具体研究内容包括:1)从界面的操作事件序列中动态提取和维护任务结构。2)面向最优界面的自适应界面技术。3)面向最优界面的自定义界面技术。后两点研究内容不仅可以提高界面的交互效率,具有重要现实价值,还可以对层级任务结构的模型假设进行验证,从而为了界面设计和界面优化技术的研究提供更可靠的理论基础。

英文摘要: Graphical user interface is currently the main communication channel between human and machine. When optimizing its input efficiency, both statistical features of the interaction task and pertinent human factors should be considered. However, the widely used hierarchical task analysis is a qualitative approach and cannot be used by computers to calculate the optimal graphical user interface. In this proposal, we model the internal task structure in human's mental model in a probabilistic manner, by which the way how the task structure migrates with interaction task can be explicitly examined. A notable advantage of this proposed model is that it allows quantitative characterization of both the task structure and the interaction task. This can lead to a quantitatively optimized interface. Given the performance of theoretically optimized interface, the input efficiency of a particular interface can be estimated and possible improvement can be suggested accordingly. There are three sub researches in this proposal: 1) Dynamic construction and maintenance of task structure based on operation sequence. 2) Design and implementation of adaptive graphical user interfaces that achieve optimized input efficiency. 3) Design and implementation of adaptable graphical user interfaces that achieve optimized input efficiency.
