中文摘要: 随着计算爆炸力学的发展,传统的可视化技术已难以满足大规模数值模拟后处理阶段的数据分析需求。为了提高数值模拟结果的分析效率,深入洞察被模拟的爆炸与冲击过程及相关现象,需要对爆炸场数值模拟相关特征进行可视化工作和高性能计算的研究探索。本项目提出开展基于复杂爆炸场数值模拟物理特征可视化高性能计算与提取软件开发的研究,直接从爆炸场模拟数据中提取感兴趣的对象、结构或区域等物理特征信息,然后对数值模拟物理特征进行可视化快速处理、分析和提取。重点研究复杂爆炸场的物理特征定义和特征描述、数值模拟物理特征提取算法及高效、快速的可视化方法。在此基础上,以软件工程思想为指导,通过高性能计算环境和方法,开发高效的、交互式特征提取的高性能并行算法和分析软件,实现基于物理特征的爆炸场可视化快速处理和特征提取。另外,结合典型爆炸与冲击问题的物理实验和数值模拟结果,验证本项目特征提取算法和分析软件的有效性和可靠性。

英文摘要: With the development of computational explosion mechanics, traditional visualization techniques are difficult to meet the requirement of dada analysis in the post processing of large-scale numerical simulations. To improve the data processing of numerical simulations, and get insight into the explosion and shock problems that are simulated, we propose to study the parallel methodologies of visual computation of explosion fields based on physical features. Features such as objects, structures and interested regions are directly extracted from explosion fields by some existing or newly developed algorithms. The extracted features are then visualized for interactive exploration. To implement the extraction and exploration of features in explosion fields, software tools are to be developed according to the guidance of software engineering. On the other hand, some typical explosion and shock problems such as explosion in the air and shaped charge jets, are to be used to verify the tools and algorithms.
