中文摘要: 北京谱仪BESIII是一台运行在北京正负电子对撞机BEPCII上的大型通用探测器,用来进行Tau-Charm物理的实验研究。目前,BESIII实验已经在Psi(2S)、J/Psi和Psi(3770)等能区成功采集了大量实验数据。本项目利用这些数据来研究高能物理实验数据分析和处理中的关键技术,通过采用新的方法希望能在径迹重建和粒子鉴别方面有所突破,满足物理研究对带电径迹寻迹和粒子鉴别的高性能要求。同时,我们要对BESIII模拟与数据的一致性进行更深入细致的研究,完成蒙特卡罗精细模拟,使得BESIII实验的系统误差能够达到国际领先水平,从而保证大量精细物理测量成果的发表。另外,我们还将采用先进的分布式计算技术,建立BESIII分布式数据处理和分析平台,整合BESIII国际合作组的计算资源,保证未来5-10年中数据处理和物理分析的顺利进行。

英文摘要: The Beijing Spectrometer III (BESIII) is a large general-purpose detector runnig on the Beijing Electron and Positron Colider II (BEPC II), which is designed for the experimantal study of τ-charm physics. Currently, a large amount of data has been collected by the BESIII at Psi(2S)、J/Psi and Psi(3770)resonances. In this research programme, firstly the key technologies and methods of data processing and analysis will be studied with real experimental data and new methods for track reconstruction and particle identification will be implemneted to meet the demand from data analysis. Secondly, the precise tuning to Monte Carlo simulation will be completed and many precision measurements can be published by reducing systemematic errors to a resonable level. Finally, a distributed system for data peocessing and analysis will be built by using emerging technologies so that the massive data will be processed and analyzed making use of integrated computing resources inside the international BESIII colloboration for the coming 5-10 years.
