Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of novel microporous materials with important academic value and potential applications in various fields. Design and synthesis of functional MOFs are the only way for this kind of materials to the practical application. Based on various excellent properties (such as catalytic property), as well as high thermal and chemical stability of metalloporphyrins, this project aims to design and synthesize new porphyrins with different peripheral substituents containing coordinative groups, then these porphyrins or metalloporphyrins react with metal ions and second bridging ligands to construct metalloporphyrin based metal-organic frameworks through the appropriate methods. The influences of reaction conditions on the structure of materials, as well as their properties(such as adsorption, catalysis) of synthesized MOFs will be investigated in detail. This research can provide valuable data and information for functional oriented MOFs. The project has a positive and practical significance for the development of functional microporous framework materials, as well as the improvement of the stability and selectivity of metallporphyrins as materials.
