中文摘要: 研究用于微波/毫米波信号发生的可调谐光电振荡器,并研究用于信道化接收和啁啾射频信号发生的新型光电振荡器结构,主要应用领域为民用无线通信和军用雷达等。本项目将在可调谐光电振荡器方面做一些基础性的研究工作,我们提出基于光相位调制和波分复用的光电振荡器,能在较大频带范围内调谐。由于未经滤波的光电振荡器具有多纵模输出特点,据此设计具有放大功能的射频梳状滤波器,通过控制腔内相移构建一组频率交错的滤波器组,可作为电子战雷达侦察中应用的信道化接收机。另外,还研究用于产生啁啾射频信号的光电振荡器,通过在振荡腔中加上线性相位调制,使输出射频频率发生线性移位,从而产生啁啾射频信号。项目组在微波光子信号发生及光电振荡器领域有着较好的研究基础。我们将针对可调谐光电振荡器及其相关领域应用在理论建模、数值模拟和系统实验等方面展开深入研究,期望能为推动该领域的技术进步做出实际贡献。

英文摘要: We will research on the tunable optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) for microwave and millimeter-wave signal generation, and research on the novel OEO structures applied in channelized receiver and chirped rf signal generator. The major application fields of the research results include the civil wireless communications and military radars. This project will focus on the fundamental research of novel tunable OEO. We propose an OEO structure based on the optical phase modulation and wavelength division multiplexing which is capable of frequency tuning in a wide bandwidth. Since the OEO without filtering in the cavity outputs multi-mode rf frequencies, an rf comb filter with gain can be realized. An array of rf filters with frequency interleaved can be realized by controlling the rf phase in the cavity, which can find applications as channelized receiver in radar reconnaissance in electronic warfare. We will research on the novel OEO for the generation of chirped rf signal. In this structure, chirped rf signal can be generated by adding a linear phase modulation in the OEO cavity which results in the linear shift of the output rf signal. The project team has strong background in the areas of microwave photonic generation and OEO. We will conduct intensive research work on the theoretical modeling, numerical simulation
