中文摘要: 量子非局域关联是量子世界所特有的物理属性,也是实现量子信息处理的基础,因此对其进行实验检验一直都是量子物理研究的热点。利用非线性光学过程制备的纠缠光子对是目前最普遍的一种验证量子非局域关联的资源。与此前大多数基于纯态纠缠光子对检验方案不同的是,本项目拟从更符合实验实际的混合态纠缠光子对出发,通过CHSH-Bell不等式和非不等式形式的Hardy定理两种途径来进行量子非局域关联的实验检验。我们将探索利用光子轨道角动量操纵实现光子偏振纠缠蒸馏等有效途径来提高光子对的纠缠度从而增强CHSH-Bell不等式的违背程度;针对实验中所得到的非最大纠缠混合态,我们将研究如何在实验上用混合态来实现Hardy定理的验证,从而实现非不等式形式的量子非局域关联的实验检验。本项目的研究将为探索基于混合纠缠态的量子力学基本原理验证和量子信息处理提供实验支持。

英文摘要: Testing the quantum nonlocal correlation (QNC) is always a research hot in quantum physics,as QNC is both one of the most important nonclassical properties in quantum mechanics, and is also the important foundation for quantum information processing. Among various experimental demonstrations to test QNCs, the entangled photon pairs generated by nonlinear optical processes are popularly used. Different from the previous approaches to test QNCs using the pure states of the entangled photon pairs, this project tends to test QNCs by using mixed states generated in the realistic experiments via testing CHSH-Bell inequality and Hardy theorem without inequality. Based on the relationship between the maximum degree of violation of CHSH-Bell inequality and the degree of entanglement, we plan to increase the degree of the CHSH-Bell inequality violation by distillating the polarization entanglement (via, e.g., manipulating the orbital angular momentum of the photons). Also, we will investigate the methods for testing Hardy theorem with mixed states in experiments. Hopefully, this project will provide a powerful approach to test quantum mechanics and implement quantum information processing, with the mixed entangled states.
