中文摘要: 平流层通信系统具有覆盖区域广、路径传输损耗低和信道传输特性好等优势,成为构建我国未来空间信息网络的重要组成部分,是地面移动通信系统和卫星通信系统的有效补充,尤其适用于我国周边海洋区域或边远、高原等稀疏用户区域的通信覆盖。项目主要针对三种场景展开研究,其一平流层多平台组网为地面用户提供服务时,如何通过平台间协同提高系统容量和重叠覆盖区域用户的通信质量,降低干扰;其二单平台为地面用户提供服务时,如何通过用户间的协同,保障信道较差用户的通信质量;其三,当平流层平台与地面移动基站覆盖区域部分重叠时,如何通过平台与基站间协同,消除平台与地面基站间重叠对用户的干扰,提升服务质量。针对这三种协同场景,重点研究平流层通信系统中网络容量、多尺度平流层信道建模、协同波束成形、智能化协同策略与协同无线资源管理关键技术,探索异构拓扑网络资源分布对系统容量的影响,异构拓扑下协同传输机理及对系统性能的影响等科学问题。

英文摘要: The characteristics of High Altitude Platform System (HAPS) based communication systems, represented as large area coverage, small path loss of line-of-sight transmission and good channel characteristic, make it an effective complement for satellite communications and ground communication systems. And in most cases, HAPS based communication is the best, or the only choice in the area of open oceans or somewhere remote and sparsely populated. Therefore, HAPS based communication systems will also play a crucial role in the future space information networks. This research project addresses challenging problems on both delivering broadband communication services for users through HAPS in sparsely-populated rural areas and enhancing the reliability and efficiency of HAPS for users in densely-populated hot areas. We mainly consider three typical cooperative communication scenarios as follows. Fist, Platform-Platform cooperation that can improve the system capacity and quality of communication in superposition area. Second, User-User cooperation that can guarantee the performance of users under bad channel conditions. Third, Platform-Base station cooperation that can help to eliminate the interference between HAPS and the ground base station to provide better service for the users.
