中文摘要: 在实时嵌入式领域,如消费类电子设备和便携式领域,能耗是需突出考虑的因素。本课题针对多核系统的实时应用,基于动态电压频率调节(DVFS)/动态电源管理(DPM)技术,研究和探索如何将实时任务节能调度策略从传统多处理器延伸到多核处理器系统,如何从同构多核系统延展到异构多核系统,以合理折中不同体系结构特点带来的性能增益和能耗上升。随后重点针对周期性和偶发性的并行硬实时任务和弱硬实时任务的特征,进一步结合系统层和应用层的要求而优化节能调度策略。再者研究实时节能调度管理的性能和能耗的评价技术,提出节能调度策略的可调度性分析模型。最后实现多核系统中实时节能调度器原型系统,为在消费类嵌入式领域的工业化应用提供试验平台。因此,本课题所做的如何基于DVFS/DPM节能技术针对多核实时系统的任务调度策略的研究工作,将为今后多核系统在嵌入式实时领域的大规模应用打下坚实的节能控制理论基础,具有重大的实际应用价值。

英文摘要: In the real-time embedded areas,especially in consumer electronic products and portable computing devices,energy consumption is now of primary consideration.As to real-time applications for the current multi-core systems, we will analyze and discuss the real-time energy-efficient scheduling strategies in multi-core systems based on Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling (DVFS) / Dynamic Power Management (DPM) from homogeneous multi-core to heterogeneous multi-core. In the meantime, these strategies are well related to our goals about the tradeoff between system performance and energy saving under the conditions of the different architecture. Then, we go deep into optimization techniques of the DVFS/DPM-based real-time energy-efficient scheduling strategies in the multi-core systems mainly for the aspects of the periodic hard real-time task model and sporadic weakly hard real-time task model. The schedulability analysis model of the energy-efficient scheduling strategies is created for us to evaluate the tradeoff between feasibility and energy saving of task sets. Finally, the preliminary energy-efficient experiments with the prototype are provided for industrial application in the field of consumer electronic embedded products from the levels of task management and storage management.
