中文摘要: 在项目执行期间,严格按照任务书中研究内容展开高速图像编码系数优化及算术熵编码体系结构研究工作。项目组提出了一种双上下文符号处理的算术熵编码器结构。该结构采用多处理单元进行对概率区间的预测估计,然后将字节输出与相应的位填充过程结合实现编码器的流水处理。采用优化设计概率估值表结构,降低了编码器内部的存储位,并且编码器可以实现与上下文无关的持续双符号处理。项目还提出了一种零检测技术的上下文编码结构。项目组共发表了20篇研究论文,其中SCI检索2篇,SCI待检2篇,EI检索17篇,申请中国技术发明专利4项,已授权3项,申请国际PCT专利2项,获国防科学技术进步奖二等奖1项,出版编著1本,培养博士研究生2名,指导硕士研究生4名。

英文摘要: During the three years from beginning of the project, we studied the optimal coefficients allocation method and high throughput architecture of arithemtic coder in high speed still image coding area. A dual context symbol arithmetic coder is proposed by our group. The coder uses multi-processing units to estimate the probability values of the interval. And a pipeline is designed by combining the process of byteout and bit-stuffing. By using optimized PET table, the coder reduces the memory requirement greatly and processes two symbols continuously. The group also proposes a zero detection technique for the context generation. There are twenty papers published in various journal and conferences, two SCI indexed papers, two SCI indexing papers, seventeen EI indexed papers. The applicant applies four China patents, two PCT patents. One of China patents has been granted. The group also is awarded by the Science and Technology Award for Defense, grade two. One textbook was published sponsored by fund. Two PH.D candidates and four graduates are directed by the applicant.
