中文摘要: 纳米材料的迅速发展为开发新的非线性光学器件提供了许多新机会,大大激发了人们设计和制备纳米或纳米尺度的光电器件和光子器件的原创动力。然而,如何设计和制备能满足实际应用需要的非线性激光防护功能材料及光限幅器件仍然是一项充满挑战性的工作。在国家基金委的资助下,我们设计和制备了一系列新的基于碳纳米管、石墨烯和CdS量子点的有机非线性光学与光限幅功能材料,系统研究了材料的基本结构、光物理性能及光限幅机制,探索制备了复合型有机/无机杂化光限幅器件,取得了一些有重要价值的实验结果。在Chem. Eur. J. (IF5.476)、J. Mater.Chem.(IF5.009), Carbon(IF 4.893)等国际SCI期刊上发表论文18篇(其中影响因子大于3.6的论文13篇),应邀参与编写美国科学出版社《纳米技术百科全书》一章、In Tech出版社《碳纳米管:合成、表征和应用》一章。研究项目"有机/高分子激光防护材料的设计和制备"荣获2010年上海市自然科学奖二等奖(第1完成人)。被授予上海市领军人才(2010)和全国化工优秀科技工作者(2010)等省部级荣誉称号。

英文摘要: The rapid development of nanomaterials offers many new opportunities for new nonlinear optical (NLO)devices. A huge number of nanomaterials has been shown to possess remarkable NLO and optical limiting properties, which motivates the design and fabrication of nano and/or, nano-scale optoelectronic and photonic devices. However, preparation of the required nonlinear optical active materials for practical optical limiters still presents a significant chemical challenge. With the strong support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(No. 20876046), we successfully designed and synthesized a series of new highly soluble carbon nanotubes, graphene and CdS quantum dot-based nanoscale optical limiting materials. So far, we have published 18 SCI articles, 2 book chapters and 4 Chinese articles, among which the impact factors of 13 SCI papers are more than 3.6. The research project entitled "Design and Preparation of Organic/Polymeric Optical Limiting Functional Materials" won the Second-Prize of Shanghai Natural Science in November 2010. In addition, as the project leader, Prof. Dr. Yu Chen, was awarded the title of Shanghai Leading Talent by Organization Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee in December 2010, and the title of the National Chemical Industry Outstanding Scientific and Technical Worker by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in October 2010, respectively, due to his outstanding contribution to this field.
