中文摘要: 如何降低高昂的能量成本是互联网数据中心运营商亟待解决的问题。本项目以考虑地理分布式互联网数据中心运行对电网电价的影响为出发点,在电价影响模型无解析表达式的条件下,研究智能电网环境下基于负载均衡和能量存储的数据中心能量成本降低方法。主要创新点如下:首先,结合电网运行的实际物理约束,建立具有互联网数据中心负载的智能电网运行成本最小化模型并提出求解算法,解决互联网数据中心运行对电网电价影响的分析问题;然后,设计具有后向兼容性的负载均衡策略,解决有效利用电价影响信息降低数据中心能量成本的问题;最后,提出具有后向兼容性的负载均衡和存储管理联合策略,解决考虑能量存储时有效利用电价影响信息降低数据中心能量成本的问题。本项目的研究可扩展现有降低互联网数据中心能量成本的方法体系,为智能电网环境下其他电力用户的能量成本管理提供新思路。

英文摘要: How to reduce high energy cost is a problem demanding prompt solution for Internet data center (IDC) operators. By taking into account the impact of IDC operations on electricity prices, this project intends to study the methods (based on load balancing and energy storage) of reducig energy cost for geo-distributed IDCs in smart grid when there is no analytic expression of price impact model. The main innovations of this project are given as follows. Firstly, we formulate an operation cost minimization problem for smart grid with IDC loads considering the actual physical constraints of the power grid and propose a solution to the problem, which mainly addresses the problem of analyzing the impact of IDC operations on electricity prices. Secondly, we design a novel load balancing strategy with backward compatibility, which mainly addresses the problem of reducing energy cost by fully exploiting the price impact information. Finally, when considering energy storage in IDCs, we design a joint load balancing and storage managment strategy with backward compatibility, which mainly addresses the problem of reducing energy cost by fully exploiting the price impact information. The study of this project can help to extend the existing methology system of reducing energy cost for IDCs and provide new ideas for the energy cost management of other electricity consumers in smart grid.
