中文摘要: 手与刺激间距离对视觉认知加工的影响正在成为视觉认知心理学研究的一个新热点。本项目计划采用多种技术手段(行为、眼动和脑电)系统研究手接近视觉刺激对空间位置信息加工、时间知觉、工作记忆、反应抑制、情绪刺激加工、文本阅读和语义理解等认知加工的影响。并将通过脑电(ERP)和经颅直流电刺激技术(tDCS)研究手近效应的认知神经机制,即手近效应的时间进程和关键脑区。最终将解答以下三个关键问题:(1)手和刺激距离近会影响哪些视觉认知加工任务?(2)这些影响是在什么时程上发生的?(3)那些脑区和手近效应有关?这些问题的解决不仅可以系统揭示手近在视觉信息加工中的关键作用和神经电生理指标,为进一步探明手近效应的认知神经机制提供科学证据,而且具有多方面的潜在实用价值,如可以用于指导病人康复训练,而且还可用于指导改进各种手持设备的设计。

英文摘要: The fact that hand-stimulus proximity affects various aspects of visual processing attracts more and more attention from psychologists. By combining psychological experiment with eye tracking, ERP and tDCS techique, the present study propose to examine whether the hand-stimulus proximity affects cognitive processes such as the Simon effect, time perception, working memory, response inhibition, emotional stroop, and reading comprehension. Multiple paradigms including various Simon tasks, time reproduction and temoral judgment, change detection, Go-NoGo, AX-CPT, emotional stroop and reading comprehension tasks will be used to address three key questions: (1) What kind of visual cognition can be affected by the hand-stimulus proximity? (2) How does the hand-stimulus proximity influence each of those visual cognition? (3) What cortical areas are responsible for different effects of the hand-stimulus proximity upon visual cognition? This study will not only reveal the effects of hand-stimulus proximity upon visual cognition but also identify the key neural substrates for the hand-stimulus proximity effects. Additionally, the improved understanding of the hand-stimulus proximity effects can provide guidelines for not only the rehabilitation training of patients but also the design of handheld device.
