中文摘要: 随着LD泵浦超快激光技术的发展, 具有宽光谱特性的稀土离子掺杂氟化物混晶受到人们的关注。在1μm波段, 通过Nd3+离子共掺Y3+调控Nd3+的局域配位结构,可实现Nd3+光谱的非均匀加宽, 获得低阈值、高效飞秒激光输出; 在3μm波段, 掺入浓度约10at.%Er3+离子即可实现激光输出, 较低的掺杂浓度和低声子能量的独特优势使之成为极具竞争潜力的中红外激光晶体。本项目拟在对Nd,Y:CaF2-SrF2、Er:CaF2-SrF2混晶的物理与光谱特性进行全面表征的基础上,首次从理论和实验上研究LD泵浦Nd,Y:CaF2-SrF2晶体在1μm波段、Er:CaF2-SrF2晶体在3μm 波段的被动锁模超快激光特性。重点探索以碳基饱和吸收体为调制元件的超快激光稳定运转条件, 揭示3μm 波段的锁模激光机理, 实现宽调谐、高功率超快激光输出。相关研究结果对发展小型飞秒激光器件具有重要的科学意义。

英文摘要: With the development of the diode-pumped ultra-fast laser technology, the broad-spectrum fluoride mixed crystal doped with rare earth ion is becoming more attractive. At 1μm wavelength, by doping Nd3+ ion and codoped Y3+ ion to reconstruct the distributed structure of Nd3+ ion, an unevenly widening of the spectrum of Nd3+ ion and low threshold femtosecond laser output can be achieved. At 3μm wavelength, by doping high ~10at% Er3+, it becomes a potential competitive mid-IR lasers crystal due to its relatively low doping concentration and low phonon energy. This project will study the physical and spectroscopic characteristics of the Nd/Y codoped CaF2-SrF2 crystal and Er doped CaF2-SrF2 crystal. For the first time, we will theoretically and experimentally investigate the characteristics of passive mode-locking ultra-fast laser of Nd,Y:CaF2-SrF2 at 1μm wavelength and Er:CaF2-SrF2 laser at 3μm wavelength under diode pumping, focusing on the stable ultra-fast laser operating conditions with novel carbon saturable absorber as modulator element. That would reveals the 3μm wavelength CW mode-locking mechanism by which the ultra-fast laser output with broad tunability and high power can be achieved. The results of this project would help the development of small scale femtosecond laser device , which has a great scientific significance.
