中文摘要: 能量受限、传输效率低下问题,是制约无线传感网大规模复杂环境部署及其未来发展的关键问题,MIMO技术的发展使长距离、低功耗、高时效信息传输成为可能。本课题针对MIMO技术应用于实际规模型无线传感网中的关键理论,研究协作式虚拟MIMO的信道容量、能耗特性的基础理论,基于场景、部署、数据特性的虚拟MIMO实施策略和具体协议算法,以及MIMO传感网系统的优化设计三方面,并解决不同传感网性能模型下的MIMO策略和实施参数选择问题。在理论研究基础上,构建较大规模的无线传感网测试床进行实验验证。其理论成果将为MIMO技术在无线传感网中的实际应用奠定基础,并为规模型无线传感网可持续可靠工作提供有意义的科学探索。

英文摘要: The problems of energy constraint and low data transmission efficiency are the key issues which limit the large scale deployment and the future development of wireless sensor networks. The development of MIMO techniques enables long distance, low energy consumption, high efficiency data transmission to be realistic. This proposed project focuses on the key theory of applying MIMO techniques to practical wireless sensor networks, which contains three main perspectives: the fundamental theory of the channel capacity/energy consumption features of cooperative virtual MIMO; the implementation mechanisms, the protocol and algorithm design of virtual MIMO sensor networks based on the deployment scenarios, topologies, and sensed data characteristics; and the optimization of MIMO sensor network systems. It will also solve the problems of the MIMO implementation mechanism selection and system parameter choice. Based on the theoretical study, large scale wireless sensor network testbed will be built and the system level experiments will be carried out. The proposed theoretical output of this project will be used as the fundamental theory of applying MIMO techniques to wireless sensor networks. This project will also make great contributions to the area of long lifetime stable large scale sensor networks.
