中文摘要: 高山倭蛙是青藏高原特有物种,广泛分布于我国西藏地区,是世界上分布海拔最高的蛙类。至今我们对高山倭蛙的遗传多样性、种群结构和种群进化历史等重要信息一无所知。近似贝叶斯计算(ABC)是研究种群进化历史的一种新方法,具有能处理大规模数据和复杂进化模型等优点,在国际上相关生物学领域得到了广泛应用。本项目提出用ABC方法研究高山倭蛙的种群进化历史,主要研究内容包括:(1)针对科学问题为西藏地区高山倭蛙构建一系列比较合理的进化模型;(2)通过ABC方法比较各模型的后验概率和评估各模型的质量,选出最佳进化模型并估算其种群参数值及偏倚,从而准确地重建出种群进化历史;(3)探讨高原地质历史和近期人为因素对高山倭蛙进化历史的影响。本项目对揭示高山倭蛙和青藏高原其它两栖类动物的进化历史以及对这些两栖类物种的保护具有重要意义。

英文摘要: Tibetan frog (Nanorana parkeri) is endemic to Tibetan plateau and has a wide distribution in Xizang region, it is also the frog inhabiting the highest altitude in the world. So far, we don't know the genetic information of this species, such as genetic diversity, genetic structure and population evolutionary history. Approximate Bayesian computation (ABC) is a new method for population evolutionary history study. This method has many advantages, such as handling huge data and complex evolution models, therefore it has been applied in many biological fields. In these context, this project proposes to use ABC method to evaluate evolutionary models of Tibetan frog, which includes: (1) constructing a series of evolutionary models according to the scientific questions; (2) testing the evolutionary models, as well as estimating the population parameters and their relative bias under the optimal model, and consequently reconstructing precise evolutionary history of Tibetan frog; (3) exploring the effects of geological history of the plateau and recent anthropogenic factors on evolutionary history of Tibetan frog. This project will be of great sense to revealing the evolutionary history and to the conservation of Tibetan frog as well as other amphibians on Tibetan plateau.
